The real reason CCP came up with the "inventive new skills training scheme, which eliminates grind!"
This guy has paid CCP 140 dollars to keep a little clock running for him! Its insane.
But anyway welcome back, and no to your questions

Thats probably the most stupid thing ive heard someone wanting to nerf. Even the empire carebears that want concord in 0.0 make more sense.
The idea is that it would help against blobbingà
Yea that makes sense, oh wait no it doesnt.
This thread is now a focused fire debate.
Nerfing focused fire would completely allevaite the blobbing issue with no ill effects. Prove me wrong.
It wont. There.
Compelling argument.
I would have to agree with you that your arguement is very weak.
You guys should write for the anti-kamakazi anti wardec brigade. Youd fit right in with your in depth analysis of the situation.

7) Focus fire nerf - Really, seriously, how would you like for them to go about nerfing this. The mor epeople shooting you, the more damage you take, sounds like its working as intended to me.
I imagine that the OP was thinking of something like: for every ship after the first x amount (eg. 3 ships) firing at an enemy the whole group suffers a percentile penalty to their damage output against that ship (or rather the target absorbs more damage from the incoming blows).
3 ships firing at one target = 100% damage from all ships. 4 ships firing at one target = 90% damage from all ships. 5 ships firing at one target = 80% damage from all ships. or something along those lines.
and that makes complete logical sense, right?
It could easily be made to make logical sense.
Call it diffusion of laser plasma stream as multiple weapon systems from different ships degrade the ion intensity around the target vessel casuing shift deplacement and subsequent damage lowering.
Not that i think its a good idea or not - but because it sounds islly hasnt stopped anything in this game. I mean in this world of the future, giant ships are used to tw@t each other off station undocks like a giant game of space conkers.
